Runnymede Presbyterian

Annette Village Farmers' Market

Local farmers’ market in the heart of Annette Village at Runnymede Presbyterian Church (680 Annette St). 3:00-7:00, Wednesday evenings from June 2nd to October 6th, 2021.

The Annette Village Farmers’ Market began in 2012 on the patio of Creme Fraiche Market Cafe fuelled by local food advocates and Ontario farmers and artisans. After a couple of years, it outgrew the space and grew in size and popularity. It relocated to the Runnymede Presbyterian Church where it continues to grow and prosper with the support and love from its neighbouring community.

Evangel Hall Mission

Evangel Hall Mission has been helping the homeless in downtown Toronto for over 100 years by providing guidance and support, food and clothing as well as counselling. Everybody is welcomed with a warm smile and a kind heart.

Runnymede regularly supports Evangel Hall Mission through monthly sandwich teams, hosting a yearly dinner at Christmas, providing clothing and other desperately needed items and through financial donations.

Outreach through The Presbyterian Church in Canada

Runnymede contributes to The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s outreach projects.

Presbyterians Sharing is the name of the fund that supports the national programs and ministries of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. It makes possible our existence as a church denomination in Canada. It enables us to do mission and ministry in Canada and across the world.

Presbyterian World Service and Development (PWS&D) is the official development and relief agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. The work of PWS&D includes responding to emergency situations, long-term community development with international partners working in health, education, agriculture and income-generation and refugee sponsorship by Canadian congregations. PWS&D is also responsible for educating Canadian Presbyterians about global needs and issues and supports churches and organizations seeking to transform their communities by promoting justice, peace and the integrity of creation. PWS&D supports people and communities in Africa, Asia, Central America and Eastern Europe according to their need and regardless of their faith.
